Today Kelly’s Korner’s “Show Us Your Life” is about something that’s right up my alley: recipes, specifically breakfast recipes. The recipe that I’m sharing is our family’s special occasion breakfast recipe. I got it from my mom, so I’ll attribute it to her. It’s so good and so easy.
1 Tube Crescent Rolls
1 Pound Sausage
1 Bag Frozen Hashbrown Potatoes
1-2 Cups Grated Cheddar Cheese
1/4-1/2 Cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
Salt and Pepper
1-2 Tablespoons Milk
First, brown your sausage. Then, unroll the crescent rolls and lay them out flat in a 9×13 casserole dish. Make sure to cover the bottom. Pour hashbrowns over the crescent rolls, making a good solid layer. You will have some left in the bag. Pour the browned sausage over the hashbrowns and make sure they’re distributed evenly. Crack open the eggs into a bowl, whisk with milk and salt and pepper to taste. Pour eggs into casserole dish. Top with grated cheese. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes or until eggs are set, hashbrowns and crescent rolls are done. Enjoy!
